Preschool Routine
Fortune Preschool has a daily routine as the foundation for a typical day. However, we believe in child-led learning experiences; therefore, routines are subject to change. Please be aware that the daily routine is flexible to support the child’s interests and needs.
7:00 – 8:30 Arrival in early preschool: handwashing, breakfast, child choice investigation
8:30 – 9:00 Morning meeting (song, story, language, social-emotional), child-selected investigation
9:00 – 9:30 Snack
9:30 – 10:30 Group 1 Outdoor discovery and play
* Group 2 Indoor discovery and provocation*art, science, math, engineering, motor development, dramatic play, nature exploration, music, sensory
10:30 – 12:00 Group 1 Indoor discovery and play

12:00 – 12:30 Lunch
12:30 – 3:00 Naptime: story time/selective centers, quiet time for awake children

5:00 – 6:00 Child choice centers, departure
